For the 1970 FIFA World Cup, three brazilian networks (Rede Globo, Rede Tupi and TV Bandeirantes/TV Record) formed a pool, called Rede Brasileira de Televisão, once there was only one audio signal available, therefore, sharing the broadcast among themselves.
In the first half, Geraldo José de Almeida and João Saldanha (Rede Globo); in the second half, Oduvaldo Cozzi and Rui Porto were the commentators until the 66th minute; from then on, Walter Abrahão and Geraldo Bretas took over the broadcast. Both duos were from Rede Tupi.
