Yet another female sports broadcaster will call play-by-play commentary of men's fútbol.

2000 Sydney Olympic women's field hockey silver medalist María Mercedes "Mechi" Margalot will make her play-by-play commentary debut for ESPN South America (a.k.a. ESPN Sur SRL). The broadcast will be available in all Spanish-speaking media markets in the Americas including the USA.

Note:

The live Spanish-language broadcast ESPN+ (USA) had no audio whatsoever, commentary or natural sound for the entire 1st half of the match. The audio was fixed for the 2nd half.

ESPN+ (USA) is NOT offering the Spanish-language broadcast via Video-on-Demand (VOD) presumably due to missing audio during the 1st half.
