For the 1970 FIFA World Cup, three brazilian networks (Rede Globo, Rede Tupi and TV Bandeirantes/TV Record) formed a pool, once there was only one audio signal available, therefore, sharing the broadcast among themselves.
In the first half, Fernando Solera and Leônidas da Silva (Tv Bandeirantes/TV Record); in the second half, Walter Abrahão and Geraldo Bretas (Rede Tupi).
Due to technical problems in the first half, part of it was broadcasted off-tube from the studios in Brazil, with Léo Batista as commentator.
