Jim Rosenthal was scheduled to present the highlights programme, which also featured Manchester United's last group game against Bayern Munich, however he was drafted to Old Trafford to fill in for Bob Wilson, who lost his daughter, Anna to cancer the previous week. Gabriel Clarke took Rosenthal's place for the highlights programme instead.
