Sportscene was originally scheduled to be broadcast at 22:40 GMT, but due to the FA Cup football going to extra time on BBC One, the rest of the evening's schedule was pushed back by 20 minutes.
However, technical difficulties prevented the programme to start at 23:00 GMT. A 30-minute programme was broadcast in place before Sportscene finally went on air at 23:35 GMT.
