At age 20, Isabelly Morais was the youngest woman regardless of language or nationality to have been assigned to the main play-by-play TV commentary position for a FIFA Men's World Cup match when FOX Sports Brasil assigned her to call the Russia vs Saudi Arabia opening match of FIFA Men's World Cup Russia 2018. Morais was a journalism student at Federal University of Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and she only had 8 months of professional sports broadcasting experience at the time of her assignment.
