About the reporter

Alice Wright is a relatively new face in the commentary ranks, having taken on her first full-time job at Manchester City FC earlier this year. She has been writing for the club's website and app, as well as matchday programmes and an online magazine.

Before joining the club, she built her credentials on the BA Journalism course at DMU. In her final year there she was highly commended in the Sports Journalists' Association Academy Award 2024 and named Outstanding Journalism Student of her year.

Her involvement in the Manchester City v Brighton H.A. and Manchester City v Arsenal matches earlier this year suggests Alice Wright has been a steady presence for the club, and she is well placed to cover this Burnley versus Manchester City encounter.
