Duncan Bishop and Lauren commentate the Málaga v Real Sociedad Spanish La Liga match

The Spanish La Liga Primera match between Málaga and Real Sociedad goes live on Friday, 18 October 2026 at 17:30 UK time. Two viewing packages are on offer. The DAZN Italia feed is available via DAZN Free Italia (geo/r) and DAZN Italia (P$/$ and geo/R), while LaLiga TV International HD, Premier Sports 1 HD and the Premier Sports Player app (UK only) carry the same match for British-based viewers.

Both packages use world feed commentators rather than a single dedicated presenter, and this weekend's pairing is Duncan Bishop as main commentator with Lauren providing the co-commentation. Using world feed commentators gives the match a dynamic viewing experience, with two voices covering the action across the pitch.

Who is commentating

Duncan Bishop has been a football commentator since 2010, working across La Liga and Manchester City shows. He is one of the hardest-working names in showbusiness when it comes to match commentary, and his long-standing role makes him a reliable presence on the world feed. His companion for this match, Lauren, rounds out the two-commentator team alongside him.

The combination of a main commentator and co-commentator from the world feed allows the match to be covered from multiple angles, which suits a fast-moving La Liga Primera where moments can quickly go unwatched.

Where to watch

For those who prefer the DAZN network, the DAZN Free Italia and DAZN Italia feeds provide the match on the geo/r and $/geo/R access tiers. British viewers may also tune in via LaLiga TV International HD, Premier Sports 1 HD or the Premier Sports Player app, with the latter restricted to UK viewers.

With the match starting at 17:30 UK time on 18 October 2026, there is plenty of time to get set up ahead of the go-live. Duncan Bishop and Lauren will carry the commentary, giving the Málaga v Real Sociedad encounter a well-covered viewing from start to finish.
