Phil Kitromilides commentates the Real Madrid v Villarreal match, on Disney+ UK and LaLiga TV International

The Spanish La Liga (Primera) match between Real Madrid and Villarreal takes place on Friday 10 October 2026, going live at 20:00 UK time. For those watching from Britain, the match is available on Disney+ UK and Ireland (covering £, €, geo and R variants) alongside LaLiga TV International HD.

The commentary is being supplied through the world feed, with Phil Kitromilides acting as the main commentator. He is an established TV presenter and football commentator in Spain, and his social media profile describes him as a LaLiga correspondent and the host of the @tsf_podcast. He has been regularly involved with world feed commentary across recent Spanish La Liga matches, and his X account (@PhilKitro) lists him as a commentator for LaLiga with further ties to football broadcasting in the region.

Who is commentating

The co-commentator for the match is being provided by the world feed as an unlisted commentator, on account of legal reasons. This means the pairing will draw on the world feed commentators available rather than a fixed local pair, and Phil Kitromilides heads up the commentary from the Real Madrid side of the field.

His involvement follows a pattern seen across recent Spanish La Liga matches, where the world feed has been used to supply experienced presenters. In a January 2026 pre-match report, TNT Sports commentator Phil Kitromilides gave an inside look at the Real Madrid camp, so he is well placed to bring context to Friday's encounter.

Where to watch in the UK

The main viewing options are Disney+ UK and Ireland and LaLiga TV International HD. The world feed commentary listings, including commentator profiles and statistics for matches such as this one, can be checked on the Internet Commentator Database.
