The commentators

Chris Sharples is an established world feed commentator whose online presence includes a handle on the Bundesliga community. His profile notes him as a dad to Oliver and Emily, and lists a range of the media and brand accounts he follows, underscoring his role as a passionate participant in these broadcasts. He has commentated a wide range of matches through the world feed, and his most recent listed commentary was on the Bayern Munich UEFA home match earlier in 2026.

Gerhard Tremmel brings a particularly valuable perspective to the commentary, as he is a former goalkeeper. His playing career in Germany was lengthy and notable, spanning clubs including Energie Cottbus, Red Bull Salzburg and Swansea City. This background places him well to discuss the tactical and psychological demands that players face on the pitch, and his presence has been noted as particularly suited to matches where insight into the players themselves is most useful.

Together, the two offer a blend of broadcast experience and genuine player insight, giving viewers a rich window into how RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt will approach Saturday's match.
