Sebastián Salazar leads the presenting line-up, bringing a strong background in elite football coverage after joining ESPN in 2016 as a host, reporter and play-by-play announcer.2 His career has included work on ESPN FC, co-hosting Fútbol Americas, and covering major tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup, making him a familiar face for audiences who follow women's and men's football alike.2
In the commentary booth, Michael Wottreng will provide the main commentary for the match, while former NWSL defender Merritt Mathias joins as co-commentator.1 Mathias arrives with genuine playing pedigree, having represented clubs including FC Kansas City and Angel City FC in the NWSL before retiring after the 2024 season, which should help her offer sharp, informed insight on both tactical shape and individual duels.3

For UK viewers, the biggest talking point is the broadcast route rather than a domestic television channel, with NWSL+ carrying the international feed for selected markets.1 That matters because women's football coverage continues to expand across global streaming platforms, giving British audiences a clearer route to live NWSL action without relying on traditional terrestrial or pay-TV coverage.1
Seattle Reign remain one of the most recognisable names in the league, while Denver Summit bring the fresh intrigue associated with a newer club trying to establish itself quickly in one of the world's most competitive domestic women's competitions.1 With experienced voices on air and an accessible international stream, this should be a useful one for fans who want a mix of live action and informed analysis.
