Sebastián Salazar

Sebastián Salazar is a sports broadcaster who has worked for multiple regional sports networks, ESPN, and ion. Salazar was born in 1983 in Bethesda, MD. After graduating from Walter Johnson High in 2001 Salazar attended Westminster College, a liberal arts school located one hour north of Pittsburgh, where he excelled as a soccer player. During his four-year collegiate career, he led the Titans to the 2002 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) title and a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances, whilst also earning all-conference first-team honors in 2004 after registering five goals and a team-high seven assists. Salazar graduated in 2005 and joined the world as a broiadcaster, but it wasn't until he moved to Houston in 2012 that he began to climb up the broadcasting ranks. He found his biggest break when he joined ESPN in 2016 to cover the Summer Olympics and was kept on by the company as a broadcaster, reporter, and host of ESPN FC until he left in 2026. More...
