Ray Poole

Ray Smith Poole (April 15, 1921 – April 2, 2008) was an American offensive and defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) who played for the New York Giants from 1947 to 1952. Born in Gloster, Mississippi, he graduated from Crosby High School in Crosby, Mississippi, then attended the University of North Carolina before transferring to the University of Mississippi.
